On May 5, Panfilov's 28 Men Park hosted a military-patriotic action of the college "Turan" - "Immortal Regiment" - a procession with portraits of the warring ancestors of our students.
Our students solemnly laid flowers to the Eternal Flame.
The Memorial of Glory "Moscow Behind Us" recalled the heroic days of November 1941, when the Panfilovites on the Volokolamsk Highway stopped the tank attacks of the Nazis and prevented them from making their way to Moscow.
Students performed songs of the time and modern compositions on military themes. And at last they finished the concerted performance of the song "Victory Day".
Many students stayed in the park to listen to other guests, to talk with each other, to recall military songs and films.
