"UN Model - TURAN INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS 2017"
At the University of Turan, from April 28 to 30, the diplomatic tournament UN-TURAN INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS 2017 was held. The UN model is an international movement uniting schoolchildren and students around the world. All who dream of a career as a lawyer, diplomat, journalist, state or public figure, come together to organize a kind of platform where you can play politics in an adult way.Participants of the UN Model at the University of Turan - delegates, chairmen, observers and experts - acted as official representatives of UN member countries and members of international organizations who came to the conference to discuss issues on the agenda of their committee. At the meetings, delegates abstracted from a personal point of view and defended the official position of the country they represented. The ultimate goal of each committee is the adoption of a resolution on this issue. Six committees were represented at the conference: the United Nations Development Program, the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, the Legal Committee, the Economic and Social Council, the Committee on Social and Humanitarian Affairs and Culture, the Security Council. From the college of the University "Turan" took part studying specialties "Translation" 2 and 3 courses:

As a result of voting within the committees, the title of the best delegate was given to Aidanova Altynay. Also all participants received certificates. The work of the conference was highly appreciated by the representatives of the UN and the participants themselves.
